Can not get connected to TPG service line

Moving house this weekend and can not get it done online with error code: < E:sqcsp:fail >

Tried their call back services, online community and sending emails, did not get any responses.

Called them multiple times. The auto tone is 'we can not service you immediately due to the high volume of call' and hang up directly. What should I do now?

Shall I just switch to another ISP?

Had a similar issue with the supplied TP Link Archer VR1600v2. Logged in as 'su' (admin) to get the SIP details. Moved the phone services to another separate device, a SIP ATA (Cisco SPA112). Reset registration expiry to 240 seconds. Problems gone

Problem appears when server registration is too long. Default is 3600. Changing to 300 seconds should help

If anybody else needs help getting su access, you can get details from https://www.marcelvarallo.com/archer-vr1600v-getting-root-or…

Any problems feel free to PM

    • thanks buddy. i don't understand what you said tho..my current plan is ADSL and going to upgrade to NBN in the new address and need to change the router. Could that be the possible reason?

      • +1

The above method is only for NBN FTN/FTC TPG/iiNet customers that have a landline that plugs into their TP Link Archer VR1600v modem. This does not work for ADSL connections.

You could ask to port your ADSL phone number across to new NBN phone/internet plan. Keep same number and reduce downtime.

  • have been waiting online for over two hours for tech support there and have moved from 410 to 399 Maybe they have all alkready gotten the virus there although they did only lockdown manila not the whole country

    • sigh…bad time moving house
