  • Is it possible to get a pair of prescription glasses with the drivewear lens for $250 or less OP?

    • The Drivewear lens is $200 so if you choose a $39 frame then it is $239 (Less than $250)

      • So no current special offer for something like that?

        • +1

30% off store wide for one pair only
30% discount applicable on frames, lenses and options

          Offer ends 30th April 2020

  • Wow is that a special in NSW? That is the normal price in Specsavers here in Perth
(I think you will find it's from $199.00 for 2 pairs)

Hi Fixit, you are correct , it's FROM $199 for 2 pairs in Specsavers.
The promotion we have is STOREWIDE $199, so you can choose two pairs of $299 or $399 frames and only pay $199

    • +1

The store itself has posted this and if you read it its $199 Storewide
this includes the more expensive ranges .. so 2 pairs $199
not From $199 in this case

edit store responded faster than i did

I can usually find glasses at Clearly Contacts much cheaper than the 2 for $199 deals at local shops: https://www.clearly.com.au/eyewear
Especially since SS and others charge so much for high prescription lenses so it's actually much more than $199 for 2.

  • hi OP - how much for the anti-reflective coating, and how much for polarised on the sun glasses? cheers

    • Anti-reflective coating is $50 per pair, Anti-reflective coating with smudge resistant and easy to clean feature is $70 per pair
Polarised lenses is $100 per pair

      • +1

Isn't anti-reflective coating already included in the $399 (now $199) range?

        • Yes. Mostly bought the glasses from Specsavers ($399+ $70 for transitions + high index costs $500+.

Now bought from visiondirect Rayban frame with above for $429. Would have paid the same price for single frame at Specsavers.

Will see if it works out.

  • Have bought this from my local Specsavers when they had the same deal. Restrained myself from being upsold on any of the extras, $99 a pair of brand name glasses (same prescription) seems like a pretty good deal.

  • Sweet! Was looking to get a new pair and replace my contact lenses.

    Will drop by tomorrow

  • replaced with a super lame 30% deal that isn't worth the glossy paper that they printed it on for some reason - made the mistake of visiting the store to discover that they had just 'replaced' this deal with another. won't bother again.
