Looking to Buy a Bidet/Electric Toilet Seat. Recommendation?

I'm looking to buy a bidet/electric toilet seat. It seems the Xiaomi Smartmi and the Whale Spout Pro are really popular here but I couldn't really find any other brands on ozbargain. The Whale Spout Pro has all the functions I need (air dryer) but requires a phone to work (prefer an old-fashioned control panel/remote control).

Toto, the Japanese brand, don't sell any of their entry models (~$300 to $700) in Australia and the ones they do sell are massively overpriced for the functions they have.

Does anyone experiences with any other brands that they can recommend? Which brick and mortar stores stock them? Not looking to spend more than ~$500-$600.

Thanks!

I haven't used them but these guys called Australian Bidet advertised on TV:

    USPA 6210 $560
    USPA 6235 $613

    • Thanks! Haven't seen any of their ads before. Which state did you see them in?

      • NSW, but I think it was on The Project which airs nationwide. Their showrooms are in NSW.

        • I know costco used to sell these. Anyone here used them before?

No experience of them thus no recommendation…. but an option

    • That toilet seat looks sci fi as (profanity). Like you're taking a dump on the Enterprise.

  • Bunnings

  • I'm in the same boat but I'm concerned that they may not fit my toilet.

They all seem to have a longer length measurement than my toilet. Does this matter? Is this a reasonable concern or are they most likely to fit my (as far as I know) standard sized toilet?

  • Wireless D'LUCCI Smart Bidet Toilet Seat

    $399 at Bunnings

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/d-lucci-smart-bidet-toilet-seat_…

    • Not available in my state, unfortunately.

    • They are sold out in most places, I put through an order for my local store which said it had stock available but am now stuck.

There actually isn't any stock and the supplier is trying to send some but no guarantees, I'm stuck in a special order until next Tuesday to see if stock arrive.

Dealing with Daniel from https://www.izenbidet.com.au/collections/ at the moment to have two supplied and installed.

He has been prompt and clear with communication which has been very helpful especially in deciding the way to install and whether to go round or elongated.

      • So you ordered an izen? Which one

        • I am waiting for Daniel to respond - initially wanted the IB740 Elongated but he said that is sold out so went to the IC3200R Elongated.

As I am booking installation I am going through email but I did let him know that the website has it the other way round - IB740 Elongated in stock while IC3200R Elongated out of stock.

He is probably inundated with orders!

          • @iampoor: Hmm thats confusing! Website has both…
            How much is install

            • @richmond12: I believe it would depend on where you are and the type of install.

I had to send photos of my toilet for Daniel to check out.

Bearing in mind that I have installed power points for the bidets in my two toilets, the delivery plus install should be a max of $150.

          • @iampoor: which bidet did you end up buying?

  • Can you buy 1 online or get a friend in another state to get it for you?

  • I have had two different Bio Bidets https://biobidet.com/
Available in Aus. at a few different online stores.

    • Available online? Do you have any websites for biobidets?

    No Toto no Bidet!

Toto would make so much money if they made their entry models available here. Toto, are you reading this?

  • After using one with a seat warming function in Japan, I don't think I can settle for one without now down here in Tassie.

most have that now I think.
I love the biobidet that I have and couldn't imagine being without it.
that's the bad thing about going on holidays (unless you are going to Japan or South Korea) is you will be without your bidet ;)

      • Bidet is love, bidet is life

Xiaomi l, bunnings, izen and few others had deals

However apparently most of these dont fit australian ‘short’ toilets which is a bummer

    • The Bunnings and Xiaomi would not but Izen has a round option which should fit?

      • Not sure. Has anyone received theirs and tried yet?
