iPhone XS 256GB (Space Grey) $1128 + 20,000 Points @ Telstra Plus

120

Decent deal if you're already with Telstra with some Telstra Plus points and looking at upgrading to a newer iPhone. It's hard to find the 256gb or 512gb iPhone XS models in stores now but I found they are still available through the Telstra Plus shop.

The following are currently available:

iPhone XS 256gb (Space Grey) $1,128 + 20,000 points
iPhone XS 512gb (Space Grey or Silver) $1,512 + 20,000 points
iPhone XS Max 64gb (Space Grey) $1,080 + 16,000 points
iPhone XS Max 256gb (Space Grey) $1,296 + 24,000 points

  • Why would you get one of these when the iPhone 11 isn’t much more?

Better screen on the XS, and smaller size if you prefer that. Also 256Gb and cheaper than the 64Gb 11.

But otherwise the 11 is better.

      • Kogan are selling ex demo iPhone XS 64GB for iirc $768. If you just need a holdover iPhone then the XS is fine, you'll replace it before the battery wears out. And there's already a kid or nephew or someone whose ready to skin a cat for the chance to buy your old iPhone off you.

      • I was struggling to get iphone 11 or Xs too for my partner
While there's current good deals on TGG 12mo plan
she doesn't like the space gray colour (she prefer silver or white)

Besides, iphone 11 has the ultrawide len vs iphone Xs has the telescope
for her usecase I believe ultrawide is far more useful for lots of group photos etc

It depends on what features you value. The iPhone XS is more similar to the iPhone 11 Pro with OLED screen, more compact size, smaller bezel, arguably more premium design (steel instead of aluminium used). For myself I wanted either the XS or 11 Pro but couldn't justify the price of the 11 Pro 256gb, it's nearly double the price of XS 256gb with not that much benefit.

      • Nailed it.

The build quality is superior on the XS!

Does everything the 11 does and better value with the storage!

remember telstra staff, you can also add this to your telstra bill and get the 25% off staff discount on the MRO

    • Isn't 25% off only applies to plan not MRO?
and this telstra plus deal is buy outright?

For those after an XS Max, Vodafone is offering the 256GB Model on a month to month plan for $1116. If you choose the cheapest $40 plan, cancel it in the first month, and then pay-out the value of the handset it should come out to $1156 total

Silver and Gold are the colours available (instead of Space Grey only in this deal) so it could be a good option for some. The link is here https://shop.vodafone.com.au/mobile-details/iphone-xs-max-64…

64GB model is the same price as the 256GB model weirdly so make sure you click the right storage option

    • Isnt the 31 a month the cheapest?

      • was until you click the next page which starts at 40…

        • Yes but it is a month to month phone plan (no lock in contract for the phone plan) so you just cancel the plan (paying the $40 for the first month only) and pay out the phone for $1116 (36 x $31), this was all in my original comment. So final total still should be $1156

  • Can you please send me the link as I can't find the offer?

  • Has anyone managed to get this? I get a “something went wrong” message when ordering :(

  • Did anyone bought of from this deal and got any confirmation yet?

  • I dont have enough Telstra Plus Points in my accounts to purchase the new phone…😢 can anyone suggest if there is any way to accumulate points fast?
