Recommend me a monitor with webcam + mike/speaker (optional)

Hi all,

Looking for a good but cheapish (up to 27inch) monitor with a built in webcam. Not using it for gaming at all but purely to work from home. Will be doing a lot of video calls so a decent resolution and webcam would be great. Optional but also great if the monitor had a speaker/mike combo but not really required.

Haven't bought a monitor since 2005 so am way out of touch and any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Multimedia monitos never really took off. Dell released a couple of models in 2013 & 2015(UZ2315H) but nothing since.

Currently HP has one but its expensive with a mediocre panel, without much info on quality of webcam used:

You're better off buying a decent monitor, and use a very good webcam (Logitech C930e) to provide the additional functionality:

    • Thanks xuqi that's very helpful.

I was thinking about something like this for the monitor:

Any thoughts you have on this versus what you have suggested?

I did find the HP option for just over $300 and was thinking about getting HN to price match but was a bit concerned about your comment about the panel being mediocre.

The AOC is fine for the asking price. At least you know you're getting a known quality camera when buying the USB device, as opposed to something built-in (Unless you can go and view a screen & camera in-person).

If you do need it for use, I suggest grabbing them sooner rather than later as there are numerous others looking to work from home, which will no-doubt impact stock levels.

    • Awesome thank you I plan on getting this probably tomorrow and agree I think stock will be impacted with all this wfh
