  • Nothing majorly revolutionary but this was definitely unexpected! iPad Pro has some nifty features and updates to be honest, tempting…

  • Great will look forward to the prices on the last ones coming down…

    • No such luck on the iPad mini 5 sadly!

That iPad Pro is an absolute beast.

  • Anyone have access to the Education store? How much is the base 13" mac and do u get the beats by dre headphones?

    • +1

A$1,439.00 for the base model. Don't see any offers for free headphones. Think that deal ended last month.

  • Ipad pro or Macbook Air? Seem to be a similar price. Need for Adobe CC.

    • MacBook Air, but is that even powerful enough for Adobe CC. What are you using Adobe for? If you're just using a remote VM then get the iPad Pro.

      • Tbh I don't know. My wife is a fashion design student and needs it for the vector graphics stuff. Just wondering what is most suitable.

        • Probably best to find out what softwares she need the Mac to run first. Some softwares may depend quite heavily on hardware requirements.

  • For people interested in getting a MacBook Air, the newest one is pretty much the one to go for, especially with Education pricing which most people can be eligible for (starts from $1439), https://www.apple.com/au-hed/shop/buy-mac/macbook-air . It'll be heaps better than the 2017 models (I can't believe shops are still selling them for $1200+) and the more expensive 2019 models.
