I'm chasing a decent screen protector for a base S20, preferably glass.
Any good options that will work with the fingerprint scanner without spending $100 for a Whitestone Dome?
My initial purchase of a TERSELY Screen Protector is currently on it's way back to the sender, did not work…

A bit late but all the screen protectors i've tried with the curved Edge glass of my own Galaxy S20 have been prone to bubbling, less touch response from the screen and are just plain trash. Only one that works well is the Whitestone Dome glass… but as you say it is hella expensive. It is what it is but unfortunately it is the only choice or just keep the horrid factory screen protector on for a trouble free experience. Thats why edge curve screen trends should just crawl into a corner and just die!

Has held up well over the past 2 months, touch response seems ok with "Touch sensitivity" enabled, but do need more force to unlock using thumbprint.
As a rule of thumb, it's not possible.
That's why they make phones slippery, fragile, and curved so you can't attach a Glass Protector.
They aren't making phones flat anymore, or made out of durable materials (aluminium, polycarbonate, kevlar). Some phones have a prominent "Edge" and most have a 2.5D display. The Whitestone Dome is the "best" one for curved phones, but even that has lower performance than $5 Flat Glass Protectors. I know a couple owners still with LG V20 and Samsung Note4, and they refuse to give up their durable phones with removable batteries.
