Oh please, I know plenty of cafe/restaurant workers and owners, as well as retail workers. It's entirely my business to prompt 'advertisers' (because that's all they are) to bring good deals which flood the front page and bring in customers. Offering the 'same old same old' won't bring in new customers, and we shouldn't be deceived into thinking it's a deal.
Inflating prices, to then falsely represent a discount, is not a deal, and shouldn't be treated as such, regardless of the size of the business or where they have come from.

Your soapboxing is lost on me because you've never once supported this company before, still haven't said you've bought their product, and insist like acting that overpriced items are fine.
Well I'm gonna stand up for the consumer who wants a fair deal and to not be deceived. Again I'll repeat myself by saying that a false discount is deception, plain and simple.

Oh god not the "support small business at all costs!" rhetoric again. If they don't have a compelling offer for consumers, that's too bad. It's a free market and it isn't consumers' responsibility to bend over and prop up those with bad business models.
