    temporary changes

We'll see. Can't believe they're still alive with their absurd prices.

They are quite competitive on consoles (sales etc) and hardware at times.
But you know let’s wish for their demise and thousands more on the unemployment line.

      • And abolish capitalism once and for all 🤗

        • unemployment line.

          abolish capitalism

Unemployment lines are a hallmark of capitalism. Just saying. (Yeah, I know, but no-one please confuse yourself with bread lines before you feel the need to get angry.)

          • @afoveht: My comment wasn't sarcastic. I just attach the emoji to make it seem more lighthearted

          • @afoveht: You're welcome to nick off and set your own community with like minded people. Keep us posted on how you go.

            • @payton: Instead of telling someone to nick off, why do you so adamantly defend the capitalist structures we have now? I'm curious.

            • @payton: They already tried that, it's the failed state of Cuba.

              • @nandxor:

They already tried that, it's the failed state of Cuba.

Whatever, but there were no unemployment lines. That's all I was saying.

            • @payton: You got angry, even after I warned about it.

Every socialist is an expert in governance and economics 🙂

          • @payton: Economics are a man-made construct that more of less protects the few at the cost of most.

Look at how well "economics" is doing at stopping the spread of coronavirus.

If it weren't for economics, we'd all be inside for maybe a month or so, workers wouldn't be contracting or spreading the disease and it would all be blown over.

Instead, this may drag on for months, kill tens of thousands of people, hurt the economy over a slower and longer period of time and force people into situations where they're risking their safety out of fear of not having a job or income. It's insanity.

            • @Ninternet: Staying home "for a month or so" doesn't help.
Fundamentals of modern life, food, water, services…

Surely if these were in short supply, the worth of the people doing those jobs would go up, requiring a necessity of these people… They can't stay at home now can they.

How do they get paid? How is their economical position remunerated when consumer-style industries are closed… enter CAPITALISM… the cause of, and answer to many of lifes' problems.

Can anyone spot the Arts student?

        • Not an Arts student, but if you're only defence for capitalism is to ridicule those who disagree, do you have more merit that those you oppose?

    • People who don't know/care about gaming go to EB Games.

Saw a mum go in and pay $89(!) for a Lego game on Switch.

  • No game trading
    No repairs
    No cash payments.

    No loss

Their repair service is top notch.
They fixed our Nintendo DS that we got from Japan which Nintendo wouldn’t repair because it was not an Aussie model.

  • EB Games announcement rather than Press Start

    • I tend to avoid linking to Facebook
      But thank you.

How will we possibly live without their generous $2 trade in value for a game that they'll sell for $55.
