I don't see why not. Play it late at night with headphones in absolute darkness, be home alone, and have 5 or 6 spare sets of underwear and pants ready. ;-)
It's not very good. Shoddy audio, linear levels with reused assets, engrish translation and the AI is terrible. I regret my purchase and the only reason I'd touch this game again would be if I got a VR headset.
It is rated very highly - either you have very high expectations or the reviewers have very low ones. ;-)
They have very low ones ;). I'm not surprised and I don't trust steam reviews. Some of the best games I've played have mixed reviews, and some of the worst have very positive. Relative to other horror games like SOMA, Darkwood, RE7 Biohazard, Amnesia, Penumbra and Alien Isolation it's a steaming pile.
