It was floating at around 120 pounds for a while and has finally dropped to 100 pounds. I know it was 98 pounds in January but that was quite some time ago. A great series.

Nevermind, I just got it. Definitely cheaper here by a few dollars. Doesn't charge in AUD though so there may be conversion fees depending on your CC.
I'm not sure if the price has changed since but it's actually £77.48 (shipped) at DVD.co.uk, equalling about AU$120. A significant enough difference to make it a better deal.
Yeah it did drop a bit but I don't see how you can neg this because the price changed after this was posted.
Its nothing personal :) I saw a better deal and (not knowing it was newer, but regardless), I shared it. That neg could mean the difference between someone clicking straight through for $133, or them stopping to read the comments and saving $13.

LOL not everyone….I lasted 3 seasons. I realised that they were pretty much making it up as they went along and there was going to be no real concrete resolution, and I dropped it. From what I heard about the rest of the series, I was right.
It got to the point where it was like a magic 8 ball was writing the plot.
I lasted 3 seasons before I got sick of it too.
Then I just held in there because I'd already dedicated so much time to it.
I thought it interesting that others felt the same thing as me… lasted part way through the 3rd season before I gave up.
I will probably buy this set though; I did enjoy it and do want to watch it again.

i lasted 2 seasons, came back for the last season to hopefully get a good ending…..but instead more hours of my life i cant get back!
Hah. I think I lasted for about half a season before I, uh, lost interested. Then I just watched the season summaries. They were entertaining.

Actually, Abrams had very little to do with the show after the pilot.

I had a look online and one season of lost is $104. I couldn't find the box set.

I was burned both by Prison Break and Lost. Never again.
Meh, the ending was a letdown but I enjoyed the rest of the series. Especially every week once an episode finished we got together to decipher just what happened. :P

Also, have you seen the epilogue? It does explain 'some' things.

I love to watch these kind of series just for the suspense value.

It's a total cop-out Ending - JJ Abrams had got his all his kudos early on, and as a result had better projects to work on!

I get that people are disappointed in the ending but how could you not like the first season?
I was sucked in by the first season. Then somewhere early into the next I realised they weren't building to something, in fact I don't know if they ever expected there to be a next season.
Anyway once the no plot penny dropped, I got out of there.
If I bought this for someone, it would be because I really, really don't like them but for reasons beyond my control am forced to get them a gift.
Fair enough. I don't think you'll be buying $100+ gifts for someone you dislike :P.
kheob, you'd be surprised, there's family, there's people that beat you in competition when your on the committee and responsible for choosing prizes, and most famously the Trojans (for fan's of Homer's Iliad).
I've no doubt that Hitler received many extravagant presents in his time. But its not likely many people liked him.
If I was the fuhrer, then I would ban Lost, and have it removed from wikipedia, and the consciousness of all living beings including myself, by any means possible.

Yes I also thought the ending was a let down, however the entire series itself is just fantastic. It is an amazing journey of story telling, twists and turns, emotions and suspense.
I purposely avoided the show when it was on TV because I wanted to wait it out and watch them all at once on dvd. Of course I didn't realise I had to wait 6 years!
Anyway I finally watched it all earlier this year and it was absolutely an amazing experience. I recommend to everyone who hasn't seen lost to watch it. It should be on everyone's bucket list.

It is actually slightly cheaper at dvd.co.uk (£81.65 versus £84.14) - although those more familar with Amazon would likely prefer using that sight.
