With the Covid-19 restrictions, the kids and wife are spending more time in the backyard and getting bitten by mosquitos. (I am too, but don't get bitten as much).
What natural repellent have you used that has worked? Best value for money? Have you made any yourself?

I use Lemon Myrtle Fragrances Natural Insect Repellent & it's very good.
Most ingredients for a natural mozi repellent require a number of essential oils so it's more cost effective to purchase already made unless you use essential oils alot.
Also, check whether you have any stagnant water in your backyard as this is where mosquitoes lay their eggs.
Based on the clouds of mozzies in the long grass areas at work, they might only breed in water, but they love hiding in heavily vegetated areas.
I know what you mean about clouds of them - we had swarms infest the backyard suddenly, it was like a low level fog of mozzies!
Need to get them before they multiply!
