Good game IF you are a football fan. At this point in the game's life cycle the primary mode FIFA Ultimate Team isn't really viable as your team will be too far behind and playing catch up will make your life hell. Plenty of fun is still to be had in Pro Clubs with your mates and Online Seasons is good too if just want to have some vanilla gameplay. Having played FIFA for around 10 years, hundreds of hours into this specific edition and now recently some tournament wins, I personally think this has some of the best FIFA gameplay we've had.
TOTS coming out in a month or so. That's when Ultimate Team reaches its peak.
The problem with this year is they removed the level catalogue in favour of a play-to-win season system. Icon SBC's are gone as well.
The gameplay is supposedly better than the la croqueta/skill moves/timed finishing rubbish of 19.That being said, the game should be coming to EA Access Vault by the end of the month and right before TOTS.
So it might be better to pay $40 for a yearly sub than to buy digitally now.
Will it be free for EA Access soon? It is about the same price for a year subscription, plus many other sports games.
Is this the version where an unexpected virus shuts down all play and locks you out of your console for 6 months?
Eden Hazard in a Real Madrid jersy for the cover. What a flop of a player to pick as your cover star. He was a 100 million euro signing with one year left on contract, and was benched after 10 games after only being able to score a single goal.
I've put hundreds of hours into this game, don't even bother with it.
