Personally, I switched from wearing JM work boots to Florsheim's as the JM's didn't last more than 6 months. Hush Puppies are good as well but are too wide a fit for me.

  If anyone does take up this deal, highly recommend you spend the extra $ and get the 'O2 motion' shoes. They're far more comfortable. Unfortunately I feel like JM quality has dropped off a bit over the years, yet for some reason I still come back to them for a pair of shoes that will last me 6-9 months of daily wear. For around $100, I can live with that.

    Any alternative brand recommendation? Looking at moving into the corporate world and apparently greasy steelcaps aren't suitable!

      Aldo, Betts & Windsor Smith all come to mind. Avoid Asos. Unfortunately I'm in the loop of buying $100 shoes that don't last longer than 12 months, but then again, I was wearing them 4-5 days a week.

      R.M. Williams are a good investment, because they'll last a long time and you can also wear them neat casual. However, you may be either seen as a well dressed person, or a 'corporate' flog.

      Between those options, something like Aquila always look good. If you can find a pair of decent looking hush-puppies are reportedly super comfy. Stay away from any squared toe-cap shoes.

      Just remember to match your belt with your shoes.
