Looking for a 27” Monitor around $300 or under

I’m a bit late to the party as a lot of stores are sold out but my workplace is now hinting we maybe able to work from home (I think we should be already but that’s another story).
I’ll be bringing my lenova laptop home but would like a monitor to attach. I’m used to working on 2 monitors but one will work while working from home. I’m thinking 27” as afterwards I’ll look at using it as a security monitor (something good for dark colours too). I’ve checked some of previous comments but the suggestions have been out of my price range.
I was looking at something like
ASUS VL279HE
Samsung S27F350FHE
Samsung LC27R500FHEXXY
Phillips 272E1CA
The last 2 are curved. I haven’t seen one personally but reviews here have been positive.

Any feedback on these monitors or suggestions on better ones in this price range. Thank you

  • Another option could be a 29" ultrawide; which will let you fit a fair bit side to side?

    • Hadn’t looked at that size before. Any good models you would suggest?

  • I'm using a Dell P2719H now. Can't fault anything about it. You can get a refurb for a lot less than $300. Mine was $179 I think.

    • That’s great to know as this was one I had looked at but didn’t think about refurbished ones.
