Recommendations for Mosquito Trap

Recommendations for Mosquito Trap

I have so many in my home right now even though I have covered all drainage holes when not using like sinks and shower drains.

So does anyone have recommendations for mosquito traps.

Lol, mosquitos come out of your sinks and shower drain. Bwahahaha.

Get fly screens on your windows. Problem solved.

    • I have flyscreens. So I have no idea where-else they are coming from.

They can only come from static water, so unless you never use your shower/drains they cannot have time to hatch and grow into mosquitos.

Also if you have flyscreens, how are mozzies getting to the drain to lay eggs? makes no sense. My guess is that you have an entry point that you have overlooked (poor fitting flyscreen, open window with no screen).

In any case, scientific mozzie traps emit CO2 - but strongly advise against running that indoors, especially in an enclosed space. You could asphyxiate.

Here is an example of a CO2 trap https://www.pestrol.com.au/buy-online/terminator-mosquito-ki…

Don’t forget to glad wrap the toilet

  • Use a bug zapper, like the ones Bunnings sells

    • Mosquitos are attracted to CO2 not light, so bug zappers don't really work on them.

      • Mozzies like the colour blue,
I didn't know they liked carbon dioxide
        I learned something today, thanks
p.s. one of my deleted posts shows mozzies all over a bug zapper, it was from amazon dot com
