  • I just picked one up from Retravision for $198 - they have a promotion on at the moment where you can trade in your old vacuum cleaner and get $100 off the RRP. I live quite far from the store and they let me get the promo price without the trade-in.

    • Cool, thanks for the info pennae!

  • What other models scored well in choice?

  • PS powerbuys is now down to $215

  • I have a Miele S4211 ( its now the S4212 or 4213), got it for around $250 with free set of bags, from HN about 2-3 years ago from memory. Fantastic vacuum cleaners, better then the Dyson according to the salesman (and cheaper too, so I know the salesman wasn't trying to push the most expensive item on me). Bagless is a joke as when you empty the basket it's still a mess.

The sales person also told me the Miele range don't always go on sale , only when the head office runs a promotion- which is only once a twice a year… so just look out for the catalogues, and always try to negotiate the price down even if they are on sale already.

    • Thanks Ash.

  • Well Godfreys are nice and pricy $349 no negotiation…I don't know why I bothered to even ask them.
