Wireless Ear buds Recommendation for Online Team Meetings

Hello everyone,

Looking for recommendations for wireless ear buds with decent microphone. I will only be using it for online team meetings and communication while working from home. Won't be using it for music and stuff.

Budget is around $100.

Thank you.

Not exactly what you're asking for, but I bought a couple of second hand Jabra Evolve 75 units for my wife and I at around that price point. They are over the ear, (not ear buds) but quality is amazing and can sync to both mobile/pc at the same time over bluetooth which makes jumping between the two seamless/automatic.

Sounds quality (including music) is pretty damn good.

As someone that spends way too much time on calls/meetings during the day they have honestly been life changing.

    • Thank you @stratbargain. I have Sony 1000XM3 over the ear headphones which work well on calls but don't want to wear them at home while working and moving around the house looking after kids an all…

      • That's the best thing about the Sony's, can't hear the kids screaming 😄

Seriously though if you turn off noise cancelling most of the ambient sound will still be audible.

        • Hahaha…

Here's a list of TWS earbuds with decent microphones. Have a look.

Anything Jabra/plantronics work well…. But might be out of your budget.

Why does it have to a be some wireless earbuds for just communication?

You can buy mono bluetooth mics, or bluetooth sets that cost a fraction and have all day battery life.

    Way cheaper and better.

    • Thanks @plmko. I will check these options also

The positioning of the mics in TWS earphones are crap for phone calls, just simply because they are near your ear, not your mouth.

You really need one with the cable between them because the mic is on there so can pick up your voice a lot better. But you'll still need to check reviews, because it doesn't automatically mean the mic is better.

I've used these and they are not bad for phone calls from a pair under $30
