  • Can anyone comment on the quality of these vs a basic kmart shirt?

      Or Uniqlo?
Im not paying $20 for a basic tee.
The knits look good but for $50 I dont know about that

    • Significantly better in my experience, and more ethically made. Ideally, however, everyone should be buying Australian-made clothes, especially at the moment. Australian Stitch offers basics including tees at a reasonable price, which is where I'd be putting my money atm (supports an Australian small business, the money doesn't get sent offshore, and production isn't in a sweatshop):

If people think $30-40 for a tee is too much, then they're not realising that a proper quality shirt will last a lot longer, is likely to be more ethically made (obviously there are exceptions, but buying locally made stuff almost guarantees it), and that 'throwing out' clothes well before they're worn out to buy more fast fashion crap is an absolute scourge on the environment:

I went in store looking for some shorts and tee's, I wouldn't even pay half price for what I tried on.

Their chino shorts sizing was way off, I would compare them to cotton on quality, just twice the price.

I'd probably get a Uniqlo tee. I saw a 50% off RRP for Herscel products, so posted the deal anyway.

Lol - dude, you gotta back your own deals.

      • I do.Just posted my opinion on the apparel section. :)

    Still overpriced, Uniqlo FTW.

  • If Herschel's your thing, this is a very decent deal.

You guys are nuts - the Reginald tee is way nicer than Uniqlo tees and I say that as somebody who has half a wardrobe of Uniqlo basics. Good deal.

Yep these are my go to staples, way better than Uniqlo.

  • What is good here? Anything for women?

      Hmmm. MR simple

  • Their chinos (longs) are great, got a few pairs and they're the best I've found in a while.
Haven't had the same issue with sizing as mentioned above

I've tried many basic tees before and I've concluded that Mr Simple is my favourite range. I've been wearing it for a few years now. Probably the best time to buy them at 50%… I just bought 4 different colours just now and an umbrella… ah what the heck.
