    Why? What's the difference in cost between a single and double storey house? apart from using a slightly longer ladder and 2 m of extra cable & conduit?

        Yes. There is height levy surcharges. But we can do even double storey house for same price mentioned during this offer period. Thanks

      I'll pay you the same for carrying 20 rails and panels and conduit up on to a single story or double story. Which would you take?

      Takes longer (time) + expensive cabling.

      Always going to cost a bit more.

      Might be some extra safety required as well when carrying panels on to a double story vs someone passing them up on a single.

    Just bought a similar system with the same panels and a Huawei hybrid inverter in Perth. I did some research on the panels and they are surprisingly good for the price (low temperature coefficient, relatively low efficiency loss over time), and they come for a fully integrated tier 1 producer. Only downside is that replacement labour cost are not covered

    Does the Primo inverter really come with 10 years warranty or is it 5+5?

      Take 'reviews' nowadays with a grain of salt. I run a business and CONSTANTLY get email offers for reviews-for-$$$. It's all a sham now, plenty of people paying for positive reviews, and also paying people to remove negative reviews.

      I get daily emails and even the odd mobile text message offering positive reviews for $$$.

      ETC… you get the idea. Personal word of mouth, or genuine long-term ozbargainers, is the only way to go.

          Sorry mate, I was not at all inferring that YOU were doing anything dodgy, just mentioning how review sites in general are easily manipulated by anyone willing to pay for reviews.

          What we REALLY need, is a review site that ONLY allows reviews by confirmed customers or confirmed purchasers. Only then would I give it any credibility.

      This price is for limited time. Usually good panels with Fronius inverter ( Made in Austria) retails between $4990-$5990.

    what is the difference between a solar company that is a CEC member/approved retailer versus one that isn't apart from the pricing?

      Our installers are CEC accredited installers. One of the people working on your rooftop solar installation will be a CEC Accredited designer and Installer .In terms of quality and Compliance let me assure you it will be just the same as CEC approved retailers ( with better pricing).

    I'm interested in solar but shopping around for plans it seems like the retailer's don't offer any usage or supply discount if you take a solar plan.
    Factoring that all in the benefit of having solar is significantly reduced

      Supply charge from the electricity retailers will be around $99-$110 per quarter. On the other hand let's say with 6.6kw system if you are selling back after 30% self consumption it will easily offset the supply charge ( considering feed-in tariff of 15-17c per kWh) With 6.6kw system - you could save around $500-550 per quarter ( supply charge included)
