Pool Cleaner Advice - Too Many Options, Can't Decide on What to Get

Hi

I've got a 50,000ltr pebblecrete pool that is kidney shaped. The current cleaner is a kreepy krawler type and is giving me the absolute irrates with getting stuck in corners (Kreepy is old and came with the house). The occasional small prong from neighbouring trees gets into the pool so most of the time is light debry from dust that is needed to be cleaned.

Have been looking into alternatives and I was budgeting up to $800. In the Ozbargain forums the following have been mentioned by members however I am now after recommendations on what to narrow my list to.

Zodiac MX6
Astral S5
Astral S10

Are there any recommendation on what would be a good option for what I need?

Had a read through this post and there a lot mentioned some liking and hating the wheel options versus getting a non wheel option. So at the moment, I'm just a bit confused as to what to get - too many options.

      Couldn't find a price for these online. How much do they normally go for? Any problems with day to day use and have you had to service it?

    I also posted in the forum you linked. I have the Zodiac CX20, works well. paid 765 back when ebay still had 15% sitewide sales.

      Quick search shows it now around $1200, just a bit more than what I want to spend. Have you had to service it or has it just chugged along without any problems?

        No issues at all. Had it 2.5 years now.
