        I second to you on this; Kmart is 600w and Smeg is 700; not a huge difference.

          I'm sure Smeg is better, but not $170 better. Paying for the brand name essentially.

          It's not like Vitamix in the world of blenders. Costs 3X as much but leaves everything else in its dust. This Smeg product only costs more because its got Smeg written on it…

    I would never have an appliance with the word Smeg on it.
    It’s just one of those unfortunate names.

    Had a look around, doesn't sound that great. I think this brand is more about style than function.

    For this price you could get a Braun Multiquick 7 or 9 on sale. I think functionally you can't go wrong with them.

    We have an old Braun and I broke the chopper attachment so I bought a Phillips unit. But the Braun is quieter and smoother so we use that still mostly.
