Note - this is for the single player version. The multi-player version is currently $35.95 on Steam.

As reported -

And for the next couple of weeks, you'll be able to get the game for bugger all, provided you play (and download) another game that also costs bugger all.

"In order to take the fight to outer-space, players need only complete a simple battle mission in World of Tanks Random Battles (including Grand Battles) between April 9 and April 23, using any tier," Wargaming announced. Random battles using any tier means you basically just have to fire up World of Tanks and complete any of the basic challenges. If you're making an account for the first time, those missions will legitimately be as simple as damaging two enemy tanks, winning a single battle (regardless of whether you actually help the cause) and more.

Once you complete the mission, Master of Orion will be available for download through the Wargaming.net launcher, which you'll have downloaded to play World of Tanks in the first place. It'll be a single-player only version of the game, according to the release, but you will get access to all the bonuses from the Collector's edition and the Revenge of Antares DLC.

  Thanks. CBF with another launcher. Gaming time is limited, money is not so precious (digital games are cheap!) that I'd waste time unless it was something I was guaranteed to play. Plus it's single player only. Just buy it elsewhere if you truly want it!

  Not sure what price to compare this to (ie: collectors edition should include Orion 1, 2, 3).. vanilla is $35.95 on steam when not discounted. But who would buy at less than 50% off? :p

  PSA: MOO2 is free and you can run it in DOSbox. MOO1 is getting a source port which is in alpha at the moment. (Remnants of the Precursors)

  the actual bonus is for existing World of Tank players, they unlock the game, but they also unlock in-game World of Tank bonus skins and styles for tanks.. which is worth the 2.5GB download - since you know, they're already running the World of Tanks launcher in the first place.
