Best Plan for Heavy Data User?

Hi all,

I am looking to move from my Telstra month to month, currently on the 60$ plan for 60GB.
I am a pretty heavy data user with approx 30-50 GB/month.

I am wondering if there are any plans, prefer month to month or prepaid, that offer a better deal? Telstra network if possible.

Happy to reduce usage as low as ~30 -35 GB/month.

Thanks for your help

  • Not Telstra, but Kogans XL plan provides 40gb per 30 days for $27.50/mo (prepaid $334.40 for 12 months)

I do this and just supplement it with a discounted sim on months I’ll need more (some months I barely hit 20gb then others I go through my 40gb and a $15 promo on a 40gb sim at Coles)

    • Thank you.
I often travel to the remote area, will Kogan keep up in those areas please?

      Thanks

      • I’d suggest you check their coverage map for where you go https://www.koganmobile.com.au/about/coverage/

      • If you were with Telstra before, you won't like using Kogan. I'm currently using both Telstra and Kogan for some additional internet during WFH period. I live in Sydney CBD let me tell you not only that its much slower but the thing that I hate the most is Kogan have a very unstable connection(it keeps dropping every couple of minutes).

        • Thanks you. Seem like I need to pass Kogan then.

  • Maybe have a look at Optus. Last I checked, they were doing a 60gb of data a month for $49/month.
