US Debit Card

Hey guys,

Before I cop any slack. I have done my research but a lot of the information is outdated and things change so quickly with these kinds of things so I just wanted some fresh input. I want to use At & T TV now or YouTube TV but they both require US cards. What’s the best way to go about this? I’ve heard Aus Post load and go are accepted on US sites but is this still the case? Unfortunately Skrill doesn’t offer their virtual cards to Australians and the only other half decent option I found was US Unlocked which requires direct bank deposits to load a virtual card which I then believe will work in the US. Considering what I am attempting to do. What would be the best way to go about it? Cheers in advance.

Edit: Anyone here use AT & T Tv now or YouTube tv and think it’s worth it? I currently have a Foxtel Subscription. Netflix Subscription and a free 6 months Stan trial.

  • You'll also have to pay for a DNS service. These services won't work outside of the US regardless of payment.

    • Yep! Got that covered already with a long term Windscribe subscription. Just need a solution to the payment.

  • I signed up to YouTube TV with my ING debit card and a random US address. Oh and a VPN obviously.
Out of my own personal curiosity and boredom, what you trying to watch?

    • Oh ok. I have a westpac debit card and ANZ credit card with no luck.
Mostly I just want to test it out and see if they are worth an ongoing subscription. Mayne I have everything I can get with Foxtel but surely US cable has to be better?

  • Have you tried a load&go type Visa card? I have had some success paying US VPNs in the past with them.

    • No not yet. Willing to try one but wasn’t sure if they still work the same in 2020. Will try to get one later this week.
