    And also, I think the coronavirus has at least 1 thing on the Eden plague, namely that it's killing real people and not fictional ones. This line really put me off…

  About 200 to 250 pages per book with 17 books in the series. This deal refers to one e-book, that contains the first three books (as seen from the table of contents), plus an excerpt from the fourth book (being Eden's Exodus). It's a good way to know if you like the series, before buying the remaining 14 books.
