I don't work for KFC no idea lol, app doesn't give the option just ask at pick up , my guess gravy for coleslaw likely, gravy for 2nd chips probably not
app doesnt let you modify the deal - only up size of chips for an extra $1.50.
I've had luck in the past where if I order through the app with no options to customise, I'll ask the person handing the orders out if the sides can be swapped before the order gets packed. Most of the time they just say yeah, no problem.
My friend that works at KFC says yes. Turn out its quite a common request since no one seems to like the gravy.

@No Username: I like the gravy but don't rate the potato sludge. If I could swap out JUST for gravy, this would be ideal.
In the past the rule has been no swaps, with the exception of swapping the wicked wing out for a tender for 50 cents when it had a wicked wing in it.

Last time I used the app, it didn't allow you to pay at the store, which was the only method I used to tack on the survey rewards.

Used it successfully a couple of times the last time they had this thing, and used it again a couple of days ago. No problem whatsoever at my local store (have only used drive thru though, not over the counter).

Such a shame they did away with the add 4 pieces chicken for $5.95 .. was a killer deal!

takes you a few min to complete the survey. why do you need to try and make one up? They are giving you chips and drink for your time to do the survey.
@nerd1: Surveys are for rookies. Professionals just write down a 5 digit number on the receipt and enjoy the free chips and drink.
From the title it sounded like you got to fill up a box with as much as you could for that price.

Because then people don't even then have to bother finding an old receipt to scribble a number on.
I'm not sure if it's naivety or feigned ignorance that keeps it going. I mean, most of the people filling out the survey just say "highly satisfied" for everything, which in turn leads to good statistics and happy management.Or it could be the fact that the app nags you constantly to rate them until you give in (with no reward) means they no longer need/care about the manual surveys and are going to get rid of them.

just ask for a receipt when you drive thru, you can still get one for app orders but i think its only if you choose to pay when you get there rather than paying on the app…

I think u still can. You just now have to pay online and then get them to add the chips and drink when you collect it. I've done it before and it worked fine.
But they need to input it to their system right? So you just tell them that you want to claim free chips and drink when you are receiving the meal?
Does this really work? Will all staff agree to it? The method u've told seems to be a "gesture" rather than actually input in the system, as your receipt will not have the Free Chips and Drink mentioned.
It worked yesterday with me using drive thru to pick up. They didn't even ask for the receipt but if they did ask I had one ready with the survey code written on it.
