Just went to Coles Brunswick east and they have alot of reduced stuff. Some notable things were the silver side beef and for $1kg!! Not sure of the RRP but pretty good for a buck a kg! I brought a whole chub unopened for about $3! They also have other notable things discounted and they said cos of overstock due to panic buying and now they have too much stock and want to get rid of it

  Grrrrr… my wife was just in E Brunswick, getting some food for her mum, but she went to Woollies!
  The silverside is usually about $22/kg, the roast beef about $25/kg. Both are usually pretty good.
  Tonight, I could have watched the Supercars at Silverstone, with silverside, mashed potatoes and cabbage, with a mustard sauce. Sigh…
