Optus Mobile & Velocity Points Not Honoured

Anyone else recently try to take advantage of the Optus mobile & Velocity points offer…..only to have have the points honoured?

I have stayed connected (more like put up with) Optus for 3 months + to take advantage of the 30,000 Velocity points (I know, might be worthless atm)
But after multiple attempts to speak to support on the matter still have not been honoured the points.

I am desperate to get back on the Telstra network however not before getting my points dammit!!

This happen to anyone else?

    Points might be worthless in less than a week.
    Word is Virgin is going to call in the Receivers if the government does not bail them out (which all indications are they wont)

      I was wondering the same, I transferred $800 worth points earlier this year from flybuys:(

      Is there any way I can use them all up?

            @expatOz: Yeah they implemented that a few weeks ago. I chose westfield giftcards even though they were dearer than the rest, atleast we know it wont go under that easily. They can also can be used at eftpos terminals (for past experience). I could order a 100 and a 50 card in one transaction.
            You can keep ordering everyday until your points run out. Good luck!
