Props to Cudo - Excellent Customer Service

I had an issue with $10 referral credit disappearing from my account and Cudo via their live help option sorted this out for me within 10 minutes.

My $10 credit had expired, yet they were nice enough to extend it with virtually no questions asked.

A few months ago, I had problems getting into a restaurant and Cudo responded on the next day and gave me a refund with no questions asked as well.

It's perhaps for this reason that we barely see any Cudo complaints on here. Well done, Cudo. You will continue to have my business.

    Finally a positive comment!
( I have said before that talking trash about a company is more common that a positive comment)

Whilst this is true, I think you can draw something from the numbers of complaints about the different group buying providers on this forum.

As you once said, "Just by looking at the front page of the Group Buy Deal Discussion, 15 out of 17 COMPLAINTS (not like introductions or news but complaints) are from scoopon".

I would imagine Cudo are one of the leaders in terms of sales as well yet I don't think they meet their proportion of complaints on here. Probably because they provide good service more often, as indicated above.

  • By contrast, my Amaysim SIM card from their recent $9.90 deal never arrived and I emailed them to ask what I should do about it. That was nearly two weeks ago and they haven't bothered to reply whatsoever.

      Ours came late last week.

  • Yes, I have had emails to CUDO that were never, ever responded to. I think their satisaction guarantee is rubbish because if you can not even get a response when you email them, what chance do you have of satisfaction when a problems crops up?

  • Deal with Cudo 5 times, and all emails were responded with in 2 days. Not bad! Only had 1 problem with a restaurant deal, but they sort it out for me 1 week later. SO overall quite satisfied!

    • Still no reply whatsoever after three weeks to my enquiry. Make of that what you will.

  • A beauty place was supposed to have a $120 voucher for use on next visit, any services. This was in addition to the facial that I thought was somewhat overpriced compared to other group buy vouchers. I thought I would go back for a specialty peel. The vouchers I received were 2 @ $50 and one at $20. To be used over three visits. the amount of the service had to exceed the amount of the voucher. I emailed CUDO. No response at all. Not even an acknowledgement. Now normally I do not pay attention to the vouchers that are thrown in with these deals, but in this case, it tipped the scales. CUDO = no reply at all. It was clearly not what was advertised and what induced me to buy.

  • +1 for Cudo… I had a voucher for Waldorf St Kilda which has since stopped trading. After being unable to get in touch with Waldorf I got in touch with Cudo using the live chat on their site. They arranged a refund and it was back on my card within a few days. A positive experience.

  • I was also impressed with the Cudo customer service. I had a terrible experience at a restaurant at the weekend and they refunded my money in the form of cudo credit immediately. Impressive service!

  • I have found CUDO service nonexistent.

  • I don't know if I have found the right forum, but just a reminder to those who purchased the $10 amaysim offer last year, that you must activate by tomorrow 08/03/2012
I activated mine today and will say-great service from the amaysim call centre.
    Had problems activating online.
