Ordered an iphone 11 on the 16th April, but I never received the confirmation email even though the points were taken. Still haven't received or heard anything about the order yet. Perth based, so maybe that's why its taking so long?

Did you get an other emails after the first one that basically just said "Thank you for shopping with the Velocity Rewards Store!" immediately after redemption.
Nvm, got a response from them within an hour:
We received your order on 16/04 and our suppliers have processed the order for shipment. Ordered around 2am on the night before it shutdown, still havent got my iPhone Pro Max yet! Emailed them, more than a week, no reply as yet!
Got a called from them last week, points were deducted but the system is not showing the ordered. Offered to refund the points or they can process the order!
Finally received my Westfield gc today. I redeemed some points for it on the night before it was shut-down. Still have almost 60k points, though:(
Got my second order - the portable beats speaker. Happy it all came through. All ordered on the night of shutdown.
They actually called me up last week, telling me the points were deducted but the order was not processed properly, apologising. Asked me if I wanted to refund the points, or continue with my westfield GC order. I told them I'm happy to wait for the giftcard.
Still waiting on some bed sheets ordered from velocity site a week before redemptions closed - got another call today and said HN didnt have supply for early June (which was their last timing update) and expects stock for October!
They offered to cancel the order and refund points but I was in two minds as Im not sure when velocity points can be redeemed!

I am happy to get almost all my points in to gift cards. Has been nice to use the cash and benefit from the Time Value of Money.
So, now what to do with 1k+ worth of JB gift cards…
Could sell them for a discount. Or pass them down as heirlooms as there's no expiry date
