Cheapest Place to Get a (2 in 1) Laptop

Which is generally the cheapest place to get a 2 in 1 laptop out of the usual suspects? Either large chains like JB HIFI, Good Guys, Officeworks, Harvey Norman or the smaller computer ones like MSY, PLE, Mwave etc.

If it makes a difference I'd be after a 14" or slightly bigger screen, 8gb ram, used for browsing, streaming light work (documents and spreadsheets) and light gaming (Factorio, I have a pc for proper gaming). I want a tablet that's not loud or hot and want to feel it in person first to make sure I like it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    You could try

And if you are destitute there are computer refurbishers and sellers of used IT products, such as

    ACT computer Traders
    Renewd
    BudgetPC

  • I just bought this one (Lenovo c340) from Officeworks after going through the same struggle. There's no good deals at the moment and lots of expensive laptops with junk processors out there.

I had them price match goodguys and got it for $1050.

Happy with it so far. Just needed a laptop for light work but often involving a number of photos. Seems to handle it well as it has the 10th gen i5 quad core. I wouldn't buy a dual core these days.

Only complaint for me is the screen res could be better, its a nice bright screen but has a lack of real estate with the low res and 14" screen.

JB hifi has them on display if you want to have a go first, but they want $1350 for it.

I got an HP Spectre 360x 13.3 from their student store for ~$1100, absolutely love it, 8th gen i5, 256gb SSD, 8gb ram.

Prior to it, I was heavily leaning towards the Lenovo IdeaPad c340 14" 2-in-1, they feel really solid and when I tested in JB HIFI it was smooth and responsive, you can get them anywhere around $800-1200, depending on features.
I've read some success stories where people buy them refurbished from Lenovo or Graysonline, but I have no experience in that.
