I want to buy an electric duster for less than $100
This was $80 but got repackaged as 'ESD safe' and made to $110.

  • This looks similar, but I don't know if it's any good.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OPOLAR-Wireless-Cordless-Air-Dus…
    $90
    27 people watching it.

Otherwise there are some cheap ones on ebay for $20-30.
I couldn't find any with 'ESD safe' on them.

  • Could also just use a can of compressed air.

    Something like this: https://www.jaycar.com.au/dust-remover-spray-can/p/NA1018

    • $20 . that's ridiculous

  • You could use a compressor with a water catch. A normal compressor for only the first tank if no water lock.

    A paint brush.

I don't think the ones you linked got 'repackaged'. I think they're 2 separate items. 1 is standard and 2 is Xpert (more power).

Believe it also comes with brushes and ability for 2 different speeds compared to the standard. Just keep an eye out, the standard will likely come back in stock. Or contact the seller of the Xpert (same seller as the original) and question when new stock may be available.

    • Not exactly the case. The "original" had been superseded by the "pro" model so it is unlikely the original model would be back in stock. Apparently they both have the 500Wt, 0.75hp motor so this upgraded pro model could more likely be the same internals with different color housing and packaging. Unless you hold the nozzle at a touching distance to sensitive electronic components there can be no harm by using a normal or"non-esd" blower.

      • non ESD just means it has three prongs. Literally costs next to nothing to add the ground

  • Out of your budget but we purchase this at awork

    Gotta love the marketing

Simply plug the device into mains power and benefit from endless clean and powerful air flow from it's 500 watt motor.

    • Endless power, just like my toaster, iron, washing machine, computer, light bulb. All have endless power as long as like this product its plugged in and the power switch is on.

So if thats what they rely on to sell the product, is it really that good.

    Latest generation model.

    • means we fixed some faults with the previous model, doesnt mean it's now any good.

The CompuCleaner Original C502 is the latest generation model from the best selling CompuCleaner range

What number sold means its a best seller. Sold 3? 30? 300. Who/what defines its a best seller. I sell 3 and only have 3 to sell, I would for me say that it was a best seller. Meaningless words
