I'm way too old. $250 shoe can still be a bargain?

Good price, but 4D is overrated. UltraBoost so much more comfy.

What's the difference between the boost 2.0 and 20?

    • UB20 has extra cushioning in the heel and the heel frame provide a bit more rigidity. Silhouette is a bit more of a running shoe than the regular UB, so if you want something more casual the UB is the way to go. I prefer the fit of the UB20 personally, the heel lockdown is noticeable.

The UB20 is basically the same as the UB19, which can be had a little cheaper if you find a colour you like.

      • Thanks, I'm looking at the 2.0 because I don't like the purple/shiny colours of the 20 :/ but they do look more comfy

      • 20 fits better than 19 and feels same width as original, also has the stitching at the front. Personally prefer 20 over 19

        • Why do you keep comparing 20 VS 19?
          Does 2.0 means 19?

@ValouSydney: 2.0 and 19 are different. This is the order they were released in:

            UB 2.0
            UB19
            UB20

@bargainsniper: Original Ultraboost started from V1.0 and is up to V4.0 (yearly update) and as mentioned is more of a casual/lifestyle shoe while the second iteration of the shoe is the 19 (2019 model) and 20 latest model which is better for running.

My main concern is running (don’t care about how they look or style at all could be vomit coloured with black laces for all I care)

I have tried many different brands NB, ASICS, Nike etc and the Ultraboosts are the best by far for running (haven’t tested the Nike next% yet but paid $420 and should be arriving by post soon).

I am interested in these but how do they compare to the Ultraboosts purely as running shoes? Another user stated they were less comfy - while I don’t care about comfort in and of itself it can be important while running (but if they are lighter faster and offer more support for running I don’t care about comfort).

Hey if you are looking souly for running look at the Brooks Adrenaline 19 or 20. My aunty is a podiatrist and she has recommended those for years and her recommendation only grew stronger with the 19 (she hasnt had a chance with the 20's yet)

      • Thank you for the tip!

  • $400rrp for this weird looking shoes? Damn !!

  • Hah I wouldn't buy them if they were $100
