Not sure about the sauce, haven’t been to GYG in a very long time. If sauces are normally free then I’m guessing it would also be free with the $3 tacos.

Agree that it doesn’t make sense, but there’s no better marketing than nationalistic fervour.
Same reason companies in America try to advertise products as American, “American as apple pie”.
Trying to make your product sound Aussie or imbued with the Aussie spirit, tries to make your product seem like the norm and more enticing.
Like Holden cars for example. Definitely American, but everyone thinks of it as Australian.

Have had, tastes like old el paso mix beef (literally). whether thats bad or good - will leave to your own tastes….
How big are they? Taco Bell have the same old el paso but at $2.50.
The chicken and pulled beer are the better options
