    $10 shipping if < $50 ordered

  • If only it'll give me my 10$ reward 😭

    • Yeah and so much for a Birthday reward…

      • Your birthday gift is the ability to buy from their website <3

  • it's hardly "deluxe" if it doesn't include Jo Malone ;)

It looks good, but I've got too much of this type of crap already, lying around unused. Waiting for their turn to be rounded up and discarded in the big clear out.

Relateable, still wanting it bad tho

      • Me too, but that’s the thinking that got me with too much unused crap. Tbh, the vast majority of mine was “free” with purchase. I think I’ll walk away from this one.

        • You're so brave :(
I didn't even remember it existed until you commented back now I'm wanting it again :'(…

          Worth over 350$ ? :((( what?
          what could it be?~!!

and I love the idea it'll just pile up as actual junk I won't use. Along with all my other full-sized junk :(

          • @The Milk Man: Ah kindred spirits! I have been using my homebound time "re-discovering" the goods I have, it's actually been quite rewarding and helps me stay out of deals like this (so I tell myself anyway as it's already out of stock lol)

@Ciciann: For problem kids like ourselves, just found an app called "THINK DIRTY" , it'll basically tell you how good \ bad ingredients may relatively be in your product.
Honestly? Didn't expect my $150 shampoo to score so poorly might cry about it later.

But this app just stopped me by reminding me this is all just generic crap in fancy wrappings.

@The Milk Man: Been busy but just downloaded said app and it looks good, thanks for the recommendation!

$150 shampoo?! Omg the OzBargainer in me won't allow me to execute on something like that…
Although my sheer volume of crap probably means I've spent the same $$$ too for very little use.

Sorry to hear that though girlfriend, RIP exxy shampoo

                • @Ciciann: My hair is like, the only thing I'll try any brand, at least the 150$ was a liter bottle 😭👏

Thanks OP , adding this to the Mothers Day present.

  • Are any of these full size?

Look like the small sample ones the companies give out for free :/
Rounded up, but in a 2c bag and sold.

    • The only items that look "full size" are the OPI polish and makeup brush.

      • Only the Natio Rosehip oil is full size, 15ml, worth 19.95$ and the brush i guess.

        • What do you use rosehip oil for? I’ve got several lying around from other similar offers. Thanks 🙏

          • +1

@voteoften: Rosehip oil is actually very useful, I have the one from Trilogy, and it works wonders. Its particularly good for scars, redness and damaged skin. So I use it to get rid of pimple scars. But since it is an oil, might feel greasy, but well worth it.

  • Don't expect this quickly. I'm still waiting on a David Jones order from the 12th to even be dispatched. They also cancelled the main item in my order.

    "Worth over $300"…. Yeah…..

Honestly, if people had any idea of the waste and carbon footprint of the cosmetics / 'natural therapy' industry….

I wonder how much energy it takes to grow, harvest, process and distribute Rosehips and their oil? Just so people can rub it on their faces.

Not to mention the fact that these are sample size ones. Producing a lot of them is so wasteful as well. Its why I generally try to buy large/bulk size of anything where possible. And the missus doesn't use beauty products except for face and hand cream, and lipstick on the odd occasion (saves me a bundle of $$ too :)).

  • +1

Would these products be useful to a 50+ yr old mother? Lol

    • Probably not. These are essentially sample size of random products thrown in a bag, not targeting specific skincare needs.

      • Yeah I kinda got that feel too, just a bunch of random little products. Probably gonna pass on this.

    • Might not be "useful", but you're mother may find it fun to try new products, especially if she's one that fancies beauty/skin products.

  • hmm looks like mixed up left overs they just threw into a bag to get rid off at a "cheap" price.

  • +1

It’s actually a pretty good price when you compare it the Sephora Favourites (https://www.sephora.com.au/brands/sephora-favorites) which is what I usually get and cheaper than what Mecca has to offer (https://www.mecca.com.au/mecca-cosmetica/the-essential-icon-…). I like getting travel sized skincare and make up items because I hardly ever use them and don’t want to buy the full size for specific items as they’ll expire years before I even finish them lol.

    • Didn't even know these existed, thanks for sharing =)
