Nappy Pants on Amazon $36 for 3 packs, pretty much matching the Woolworths specials pricing this week of $12 a pack (RRP is $17). Worth it with S&S as it brings them down to $10.20 a pack. Limit is 1 per account. Available in sizes 4, 5 and 6. Though, I have seen these cheaper at $8.50 pre covid days. Doubt they will be half price anytime soon in the current climate like all other baby supplies.

    what is S&S?

    • Subscribe and Save

    • subscribe and save - 10% discount, order and then cancel shortly afterwards

      • ah thanks for the tip, my partner regularly orders from there but didnt know you could do it.

      • thanks for the cancel tip :)

  • OP the option for S&S seems to be removed, I cannot see if for any of the sizes. Can you still confirm its available?

    • Yep, still showing on mine as available with S&S.

    • If you follow the link s&s shows but if you change to a different type like Walker and back to toddler s&s goes away for some reason

    • +1

You might have to refresh the page as when I go to another page then go back the option vanishes. Refresh the page and it's there again.

      • +1

Might also be less glitchy if using the Amazon app.

      • Yep refreshing work for me when changing the size.

  • This is just normal price. Woolworths, coles… everyone has single for $12

    • +2

You might be thinking of the normal nappies? Those are $12.99 at Aldi. These are the nappy pants which has a regular price of $17.

  • I don't understand the premium for nappy pants. It's really not that hard to use regular nappies, and I personally find changing a baby with nappy pants more of a pain.

    • They're good to use at night time for a Toddler so they don't wet the bed, but still able to use the toilet by themselves before bed.

No idea who would use them on a baby though, this is all the sell in Japan and it's a nightmare pulling them off when covered in poo.

      • Your toddler has probably never tried to take off the nappy straps by themselves running nude around the house lol…

      • Why would you pull them off? They are designed to tear apart at the sides. They come off like normal nappies. Much easier to put on babies who wriggle around

        • Well I had no idea what the hell they were at the time, tearing them didn't seem to work the sides of these nappies were like Kevlar. I resorted to scissors in the end. I'm assuming user error now.

          • +1

@Pandaroo: Yep, they do tear off at the side, but again, I can't see the benefit unless they are already able to use the toilet themselves.

            • @TEER3X: wait until you get a child who wriggles and wriggles and wriggles. Number two is always trying to stand up. Nappy pants are way easier to put on for me

      • +2

That's because you aren't meant to pull them off when covered in poo, you rip the sides open.

Much easier to put on the kids than nappies when you've got wriggly kids, and you can put them on the kid while they are standing up.

    • +1

Wait until you have a baby/toddler who makes it a mission to not let you get that nappy on. Then you'll appreciate nappy pants.

Every baby is different. Just because you find it easy to put on regular nappies doesn't mean it's the same for other parents.

      • My toddler is an absolute nightmare to change, he will throw his entire body and kick his legs everywhere and scream murder, but I don't see how nappy pants can make changing him any easier?

I've learned to calm him down or distract him.

  • Nappy pants suck for small guys when they do a poo. It’s a nightmare to take off.

    • +5

You’re supposed to tear the sides and take it off like a normal nappy, not slide it out the way you put it on.

      • +3

Haha user error then. that’s certainly better.

        • best for those when u about to toilet rain
easier to remove and do a number 1 or 2 and replace

          • @djones145: I find them handy as Bub likes to stand a lot, so it's easy to slide these on! We use a mix of nappy pants and normal nappies and reusable nappies though. I just bought two packs from Woolies yesterday. OH well.

  • is there a way to order more than one?

    • create new account.

    • +1

You might be able to get 2, but the second one won’t be delivered until May. Once it’s dispatched, cancel the subscription. Then recreate a new order and choose option to add to May’s subscription. I think this way, the price is locked in. No doubt it will change again to full price once the Woolies special is finished. To confirm this works (I haven’t followed through with it), check my orders and there should be one for May delivery. Also check that your card gets charged for the May order.

      • ok thank you very much

so what i do? i put in a S&S order for 1 month? then once the May order is process i cancel the subscription?
will the price still be the same? how does the price get locked in?

        • You put in an S&S order for delivery now. Then you wait for it to dispatch before cancelling the subscription. Once that’s done, you can create another order by adding to the May subscription. It won’t let you reorder for delivery now due to the limit. It should create a new order to your ‘my orders’ section with estimated delivery date in May, therefore locking in the price.

          • +1

@eievui15: ohhh thank you very much.

i cancelled S&S before it was dispatched.

i get you now locking in the price for May order

thanks for the tip, will note down for next time.

    Huggies are better for overnight

    • Which ones exactly?

If you go a size up on any brand, can help immensely for overnight

      • Use whatever you want during the day. Huggies best for overnight. Most absorbant. I’ve made the error a bunch of times in buying different brands on sale but none are as good for absorbency as huggies. I use the appropriate sized ones.

        • +1

We used Huggies Ultimates when bub was smaller. Now in Size 4 Babylove and Rascal and Friends. Both last overnight no problems for us. Don't use the nappy pants for overnight, they don't seem to absorb as much.

        • Thanks I'll try Huggies, currently changing him in the middle of the night to avoid a flood

          • @TEER3X: Get the ultimates if you can. Its a shame they aren't Aussie made anymore :(

  • Thanks OP!
