Nespresso Pods - Chocolate Flavour?

Looking for nespresso compatible chocolate pods (if they exist). Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with any of the ones that are available in Australia?

Comments

  • There are several different brands of Chocolate pods available for sale for nespresso machines.

I've tried a couple including Podista from Woolies but IMO they were too watery, lacking in flavour.

I now just foam milk with a couple of spoonfuls of Milo in it and it's tastier and a lot cheaper.

    • Shame about the taste.

I previously had an aldi machine, the chocolate pods were spot on (2 pods per mug of hot chocolate). For a limited time they even had mint hot chocolate which was just amazing even without milk.

      • We had the Aldi ones as well. I used to just crack the pod open with a knife and eat the powder dry. I'm sure my lungs won't have any problems later in life.

    • Agree with you regarding the Podista but it makes a huge difference if you open the pod and extract the remaining chocolate into the drink. There's a lot left, about half full. I used to occasionally use two pods as well into frothed milk and still open the pods and dump the remaining chocolate in as well. I'm not a huge hot chocolate fan (I think it took me 2 winters to go through a pack) but unless I found something that was better, I may buy them again.

  • Lots on eBay, amazon etc

  • Whats wrong with the hot chocolate powder in the tin?
JUst run the milk through the frother and viola!

    • For me it was convenience, already using the frother, may as well use the attached coffee machine as well.
