looks like it doesn't include the mixing bowl

    that's a deal breaker for me…

      Yeah nah.

Of course it includes the bowel. They’re bundling extra stuff with the base model. Why would they take that stuff out of the box? Screw you customer. No bowl for you!

      • -5

        that one is $600 though…

          Yeah but same item number.

Oh no, I just realised my mistake. I replied to JV. Usually you just wait until his comments are downvoted enough to not be visible.

I am laughing way too much at this.

        • that one

The Bowl Edition - now with useful bowl!

Of course it includes the bowel.

That does not seem like an appropriate vessel for food preparation

        • Lol.

        • Hmmmmm, pre-digested food. You could be on to something.

Good price! I bought the 150 in black with bowl and attachments from ebay yesterday for $521.

    • -3

      yesterday for $521.

That's a good price if includes the bowl !!!

      • +2

It definitely includes the bowl. $521 is also a good price if you don't have Costco membership.

  • Is it in store only? Still shows $600 online?

    https://www.costco.com.au/Kitchen-Laundry-Appliances/Small-A…

    • +2

Yes. The full page of the catalogue states 'Valid in warehouses only". Also, the online prices are usually a little higher than in store normally as they factor shipping into the price.

  • Has anyone ever tried price matching Costo catalogs?

    • +2

Don't think it'd fly due to there being a paid membership involved

  • This is better than the deal you mentioned I reckon as that deal is for a classic, this is for an artisan.

    Confirmed.

Just bought one today at Costco Canberra Airport.
Whole pallet of them as you walk up the first isle-way past the TV's towards the back of the store.

And JV… yes, it has a bowl :).

  • Also bought one for the Mrs.
Pretty good deal as it includes the slicer bundle that retails for $145+. Or sell the accessory (boxed separately) to push the mixer cost down to $360-ish.
Yes, this KS150 pack model includes a bowl (exclusice to Costco). The difference between this model and the KS160 is that the latter comes with an additional smaller bowl.

Just bought this one last week if anyone is interested

    https://www.kenwoodworld.com/en-au/products/kitchen-machines…

Same price at most retailers but it seems you will get 10 years warranty if buying directly from Kenwood. I bought from JB Hifi as I had their gift card and they were having 20% off Kenwwood appliances, so I paid $480 (from $599) for it.

Also Kenwood is having a promotion where you can claim 2 attachments for this model (blender and extra bowl).

I'm happy with the quality. Mixed 9 cups of flour last time, no sweat. Specs wise it seems better than the KitchenAid (more powerful, bigger bowl, more bowl tools etc)
