    I have a seeker 2 pro and a m2r warrior
These are great quality and produce an insane amount of light.

I will note that as a true OzBargainer i purchased them both on 40% off sales but if you are waiting for a specific torch it may take a year before you see it on sale.

You can’t go wrong with a Baton Pro or S1rII/S2rII at 30% off. Magnetic charging and very high quality. Stepping up to a M2R Pro is a great idea if you want something tactical that can still be used every day.

Don’t forget the new I5T in copper. Limited edition and very nice to hold/use. There are various other limited editions left but they may not last long during the sale.

Do these have lenses that can focus?
My torches all have focusable lenses, and it's invaluable going from wide to narrow throws.

    • They do not. I recall one of the live videos answering this question, but essentially, it's not something they want to make. It also messes with the waterproofing of the torch as the zoom function generally requires air to enter and exit the torch body making it open in points.

LED Lenser has a patent on its zoom function, so you won't see any quality torches with that style of zoom.

      Check out Liteshop.com.au

They stock a range of adjustable torches from Lumintop, Klarus, Fenix, and Wowtac.

If you are keen on Olight though, the Paton Pro has plenty of throw and flood, or simply buy a diffuser and clip it on when you need it (works really well).

thanks mate for the info. I'll stick with LED Lenser for now then. I'm not a huge fan of the rings that bleed out as part of their torches, but I'm fine with accepting that to also gain the ability to focus the lens.

        • LED Lenser makes a decent chassis, the problem is they are too expensive in comparison to other lights that are just as good build quality, with better LED's, output and use Li-ion batteries. You really only pay for the name and zoom function. Definitely look around as there are plenty of good options out there!

@Wilkshire13: Yeah I get that. I know I'm paying a premium for the brand, but I put a really big premium on the zoom.
If there's another brand that can zoom and do it cheaper, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

That said, I might still get a massive lumen torch (maybe 3-5k) and just carry the LED Lensers around when I need the focus.

            • @beatsntoons: Never hurts to carry two torches, if one fails then you still have light, just get ones that take the same batteries so you can swap them out if needed. :) Good luck!
