[Switch] Party Treats - Free @ Nintendo eShop for Owners of Geki Yabba Runner or Robonauts

840

QubicGames have been simultaneously celebrating their 16th birthday as well as raising funds for COVID-19 relief.

For the next few days, Party Treats is being offered for free to owners of Geki Yabba Runner Anniversary Edition or Robonauts (both games have been free or heavily discounted in the past).

Owning either of those 2 titles also unlocks some steep discounts for other QubicGames titles - of which a % will also be donated to COVID-19 relief.

Keep in mind you won't find a Celeste or Dead Cells amongst their offerings, but may find some intriguing titles on their own merits.

I recommend Blazing Beaks personally. Akane could be fun for high score chasers and REKT has a lot of content if you're into the gameplay (always look at gameplay first).

Thanks for the reminder, I just grabbed Blazing Beaks for $3 as I already have some games from these guys.

Qubicgames homepage has the full list of games and discounts https://qubicgames.com/16th-anniversary-sale/

  • I bought a bunch of the games that were under $1 as well as Tharsis (one of the newer ones)—turn-based, space survival strategy game with dice? Yes please!

I was considering the RPG that was 74c, but my issue with Qubic is that usually the games are so similar to other games I have, but aren't as good.

Blazing Beaks was a pleasant surprise in that regard as it is entirely unique. Let me know if you find anything else that could be considered a hidden gem!

If you want a Tony hawks style game, get Rekt. It's like that but with cars, with a sweet neon 80s flat shaded polygon look that runs at 60fps, and has nice coop score chasing modes.

Plenty of content to unlock for free, and it's a good game.

  • Has this already started or is it starting soon? It still shows $2.99 for me even though I own robonauts and Geki Yabba, plus numerous other qubicgames games.

Are you accessing the deal through your switch console? Or via the link? If via the link, are you signed in in your browser?

      • The eshop. However, if it doesn’t end up working for me for whatever reason, it doesn’t really matter, as I doubt I’d end up playing it. But i’ll try the link and sign into my nintendo account.
