From my understanding, Atelier Ryza is a new continuity (with a new game engine, plus reworked combat and alchemy mechanics), so you can just jump straight in without having to play any of the previous games or worrying about play order.

    That's unfortunate.

    Well, $56.95 for the PS4 version would still be $8.83 cheaper than Amazon right now. And with supply chains the way they are right now, I don't imagine the Switch version will get any cheaper than this any time soon.

    For anyone who is hesitant, they could add the game to their eBay watch list, then keep an eye on the quantity left over the next few days as they hold out for a non-targeted eBay discount code?
