Need to purchase a ladder but they all seem expensive. Would be great to find a high quality bargain!

I've got one of those. It works a lot better than expected but the collapsing process is frightening if you have your fingers in the wrong spot.

I have picked up ladders for free or $10 on gumtree/eBay.
No need to buy a new one.I bought a $100 ladder from Bunnings and it is a beaut

I've got the same one. Bought it 4 years ago and comes out a few times a year for the odd jobs around the house like cleaning the roof gutters, pointing the roof tiles, taking off the Christmas lights, etc. It still acts like new.

Don't get the Baileys, it is not extendable
The one I pointed to has many configurations
It goes up a long way to reach the highest points if needed, or 3/4 get extended & the other 1/4 goes at 90 degrees
The 2 ends can go 90 degrees and have the other 2 straight, just put a plant on it and you can walk along while you paint at heights

Look for a good used one
Many people buy them for a home job then sell them

Get that new one from Bunnings for $100 bucks
You know it will OK because it is new not stuffed, that is why someone is selling it
telescopic? it's a rage among the campers. I've got one to do odd jobs around the house and it's been great.
