[PC] Red Dead Redemption 2 (SE) Rockstar Key for $67.16 ($64.62 + $2.54 Fee) @ Instant Gaming

120

Hi All,
Not often I get to share something on here, thought I'd post this for anyone who hasn't got RD2 yet, and might be considering it now due to the recent implementation of RedM.

For those that don't know what RedM (or FiveM) is, CFX have a platform for GTA5 & RD2, allowing modifications/add-ons for multiplayer roleplay.
Check out some vids on youtube/twitch etc, CFX can be found here. Other mods can also be found here - RD2 Mods and GTA5 Mods

INFO; (someone else may find a better price/deal, this is the best I could find)
- The site price is $64.62 au, however checkout added $2.54 Fee, totalling $67.16.
- In comparison, Rockstar & Steam price is $89.95, so saving of $22.79.
- Its for a Rockstar key (not Steam or hard copy etc) have to download it, which is around 110 GB (about 4hrs for me).
- If interested, there's also better pricing on Special ($70.77) and Ultimate ($75.11) editions (+ fee).
- This appears to be instant gaming standard pricing, no indication of being a special etc. However at this time of posting it says "8 games left at this price".

Cheers!

when are we getting stadia damnit!!!

    • +8

Honest question - why would you want that?

    • +2

Why buy this title for a platform that will be quietly taken out the back and shot in six months?

You'll just lose the license instance that you purchased.

    • +3

      so much downvotes jesus…

each to there own guys…so harsh… tough crowd tonight…

      • +1

Maybe they don't want people to be misled into thinking Stadia is a viable platform?

Both skrot and Diji1 raised some good questions, what do you say to those?

        • +1

          embracing new technology.

  • +2

Might be worth mentioning that this mob are a key reseller (like G2A), so there's a small but not zero risk that your key could get revoked in future.

I paid less then this 2 weeks ago?, and isnt this about to be added to the $4.95 a month thing? Am i missing something?

    • +2

Xbox game pass, not the PC version though

    • +2

It's only coming to Game Pass for Xbox, PC is excluded.

      • -2

fair enough, this isnt a bargain tho

        • Genuinely interested why it isn't? (am I missing something?)
For me, a bargain is the best price available "today", when I want it, not waiting for weeks for "maybe" a better price, Black Friday etc.
This is the best price/bargain I could find today, are you aware of a better bargain?

          • -3

@linoc66: Just because its "the best price you can find" doesnt make it a bargain, everything is the best price somewhere? imagine if everyone posted the "best price" of everything they buy? This is a bargain website? Thats why you have got bugger all upvotes, and btw that site is dodgy as.

            • +1

@mitcheo: Don't agree with you at all. What defines what price point each item is considered a bargain at? If I wanted RDR2 PC right now, this is the best price available which is a 'bargain' over paying RRP elsewhere.

The deal posting guidelines even state it's one of the main criterias, so you're just plain wrong and don't get to dictate to others what the site is for.

Is this really the best price on the web?

Having said that, not keen on dodgy grey market key resellers so wouldn't get it from them on that basis.

@Hybroid: What defines what price point each item is considered a bargain at? Common sense, how many upvotes etc?

                • +1

@mitcheo: No, that's not relevant. It could be fantastic deal on something 90% off RRP yet a niche item with little interest. Conversely, the Tesla 'deal' got thousands of upvotes but how many actually bought one? Upvotes, likes, clicks, retweets, whatever do not matter in the real world.

Classic example: Your very own Weber deal only got 11 upvotes yet it was a good bargain price. What now?

I wasnt trying to defend my shit bargain that normally gets lots of upvotes when its posted? Ozbargain was clogged up with posts like O.P so it probably didnt get seen much? I see your pretty new here, Ozbargain has changed alot over the years. Welcome : ) hot tip: dont bring up RRP lol

                • @mitcheo: this dodgy site is $3 less then current legitimate sites, i paid less then this "bargain" 2 weeks ago. Its not a bargain, RRP doesnt mean anything here on ozbargain, I could easily post thousands of "deals" of stuff with $3 cheaper then there competitors, get a couple of upvotes from the mindless upvoters and clog up this wonderful site, is that really what its all about?

                  • +1

@mitcheo: Yes. Read the deal posting guidelines. Don't make stuff up.

                    • @Hybroid: im not saying its against the rules? im saying its not a bargain? you can see yourself out now

                      • @mitcheo: Read the deal posting guidelines again.

Is this really the best price on the web?

If it is, which is the case here, it's a bargain price for the product. If you find it cheaper elsewhere, post it.

The subjective viewpoint on the vendors legitimacy is a personal decision.

    What's the fee for?

        Magic beans?

Oh I've got a bean stalk you can climb 😂

It was $66 for PC two weeks ago. The all time low of this game is $61.

Great game though. If you're considering it, I think it's still worth at this price.

  • I paid $63.86, no other fees added.

  • AUD $68.97 from Epic store at the moment. For a legit copy, I think I'm going to give in…. now who to give the creator code to….
