LG Phone Warranty Repair Taking More than a Month - Normal?

Hi bargainers,

I sent in my LG G7 ThinQ to LG's authorised repair centre (Evertec) in Sydney for a warranty repair. It's been 4 weeks and counting. For the past three weeks, they've just kept telling me they are waiting for parts (motherboard) from LG.

Does anyone know if this is normal? I know its pandemic time, and happy to wait if normal. But I am not sure if they just bluffing me…
I've never had to send a phone in for warranty repair before.

    its covid.. everything are not normal….

    It is if they are waiting on parts out of China which is most likely what is causing the delay
    Also LG Phones are terribly made so they might just have a big backlog

    Ask lg for replacement or proof for refund.
