Aldi's upcoming (not yet available) 975ml bottle for $9.99 is cheaper and no doubt superior. But right now I think this is the best deal available. I don't know if it's a gel or liquid, I haven't bought it.

Can't you just DIY this? Some acetone + cornflour.
With how cheap petrol is right now I use unleaded 98 + cornflour instead of acetone. (Make sure it's 98, the cheaper stuff is no good for the skin)
Metho is under $4 a litre and is just as good if using a refillable spray bottle of course if you like having the sticky residues left from the ~25% of other shit in these hand sanitizers you would be best sticking with one of them

It's pretty much sold out worldwide. Might be able to find 125ml in Bunnings but they only receive a small box which sells out in a matter of hours.

This place is selling denatured ethanol currently. Should be able to supply as much as you'll ever need.
They also sell 70%, but you're probably better cost wise to buy 100% and mix with purified water yourself to the required percentage.
Note - as it's denatured this is not for drinking.

Hows 11$ become subject to huge tax, it would be just a doller $1.50 tax tax or no tax, it's still expensive.

It means that we get reamed because we are stupid enough to pay higher amounts for the same goods as other countries.

We happened to have a 500ml unopened bottle and 2 or 3 little 50ml bottles before Covid started so we surfed through this whole thing not buying any until I got those Thank You branded bottles from Officeworks a few weeks back.
