    OzGameShop
    MightyApe
    GamesMen

    All are reputable sellers.

If you are somewhat tech savvy you could always Homebrew your 3ds.

    • Thankyou there’s a few stores I can look into ;)

  • One particular game is the mind craft game

    Great game mind craft

    • not sure why your downvoted, mins craft is a great game for the newly spawned

    • If you're not familiar with gaming lingo or titles, it's easy to potentially get wrong as a parent. Eg. if kid approaches parent, and babbles they would like to play 'minecraft'. Their pronunciation wouldn't be as developed as adults.

Or simply could be a typo..

    • I’m to old for this crap!! Mine craft :)

  • Hi,

To play Minecraft you will need what's called the "New Nintendo 3DS". This is a new version of the console, and only this one will play Minecraft. Amazon is a really good bet for 3DS games, a good range and good prices.

    Hope this help, good luck!

Second this, I picked up a New Nintendo 3ds XL for $53 at xmas from a second hand shop in good condition, homebrewed it, and now the little one uses it. Homebrew is a little fiddly but do-able and as a result. I don't feel bad as I've given Nintendo a LOT of money over the years so own everything I've put on, it's just better not to have to swap cartridges to change games! I already had one form the year before I bought from the same shop for $89, and homebrewed we can play mariokart against each other!

      • what that is crazy price…… i bought brand new at $99 tho.
but I'm saying, when i went to cash converters they all selling one game at $30,40,50 so console for $53 is a steal…. hey mind msg me where is this shop? thanks

        • Sydney area. The shop is a small local one that only have a couple of tech things in and it happened everyone wanted switches leaving the poor NN3DSXL languishing just before xmas!

    • Thankyou for your information,I’m trying to steer away from any new purchases right now but will still look into your suggestion Thankyou :)

  • I strongly advise you use ebay for 3ds games… I did and got heaps for very little money. Also found a few in JBHifi, typically overpriced but would go on sale to super cheap prices from time to time.

  • Try Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree.

seriously, hard to find? come on… plenty second hand at gumtree, facebook, eBay, cash converter shops, etc…..
seriously, hard to find? come on… plenty brand new at jbhifi ebgames etc….
and third time seriously, just hack it…

no you don't download straight from internet to console, you hack the console then download the game then put into the sd card… google is your friend. we cant talk much about hacking here

and if you cant connect the console to internet then you have bigger problem than finding games.

    • That’s the big problem

My husband tried everything to connect the console to the internet but was unsuccessful..but yes maybe I will suggest he look into google and try figure out the problem ..Thankyou :)

  • Find out what FW you’re using, and then install custom fw. Download games and run from memory card
