I'm a beginner guitar player looking for the best value music stand, preferably under $50, though cheaper would be better.
I highly doubt it'll go outside of the house, but I would like it to be fairly sturdy. I previously had a cheap collapsible stand from a local music store that drove me insane; it wouldn't stay in place and collapsed at the slightest nudge.
Could you guys please recommend something suitable? Currently I'm considering one from Kogan (https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-sheet-music-stand/) if anyone has any experience with it.

I have something very similar. You might find it a few bucks cheaper on ebay, but shipping will be longer. Also check out gumtree, always lots available and they don't really get damaged or worn out.
My only complaint is that the height and angle adjustment can involve 2-3 screws, which is complicated when switching between my kids music and my music. Our music teacher has one that goes up and down without any screwing/twisting (check out the gravity music stand), but it's over $50.
