If the contents are like the cover then that's tragic. Try loomis instead

Is this one of those drawing books like:
    1. Draw a circle for the head
    2. Draw two ovals for the eyes
    3. Add hair, facial details and shading
    4. Done!

It's a the author can't draw but what's to put out a book anyway. Honestly the books people actually need get overlooked because the results take a fair bit of effort. Yeah I probably sound a bit rude but its an area I'm passionate about.

      • What would you suggest please Jenny?

So for absolute beginners drawing on the right side of the brain is a must. It has a bit of pseudo science in it but ignoring that is easy. The actual exercises in it are what's important as they help you rewire your visual perception. Then Loomis that I commented above are good after you've finished dotrsotb. Perspective made easy is a good book too. I think Bridge man also did some books that some people prefer over Loomis but I've never really looked into them too much.

I'm sure there's a bunch of other good books out there too, these are just some of the ones I use (I'm by no means pro yet).
