  • I do enjoy a good Guinbess or Smithwicks, but not from the can.

    Never from the can…

    • +1

It even says on the can "Best enjoyed poured into a glass". If you haven't tried the can in a few years, try it now. They've got a small plastic ball in there that keeps it foamy (and tasting almost as good as the real thing in Dublin).

      • +9

Those balls have been in the cans for well over 20 years.

are you talking about male feminists?

They are also good for beer pong if all of the ping pongs end up in somebody’s rectal cavity

        • like a shirikodama

The cans have had the widget in them for decades.

But yeah, best to crack it, let the widget squirt out all that nitrogen goodness and then pour it into a glass.

Currently $57 in the BWS near me in Tassie, handy for anyone not having a Dans close by.

  • Balls in your Beer

  • This is good. Worth checking your local BWS too. Got a slab for 59 last friday.

In 1991 the widget was awarded the Queen’s Award for Technological Achievement, beating out the Internet

    • Fully deserved

    • Internet pornography wasn’t established then, costing the Internet vital points.

I bought a slab just to break up the monotony of drinking my way through my lockdown panic buy stash of goon port. Still got about 16 litres to go.

Looking at Dan Murphy site with location at Chelsea Heights VIC, shows member price $58.
After login to Dan Murphy, changes to $55.
    Tempted to buy 2.
    Thanks OP and DM.

  • They also have Kilkenny for $58

Took me a week to get your joke! Lol

  • Born and raised in Dublin, home of Guinness, where the drink is like mothers' milk.

Guinness (poured) from a can is pretty much at the level of draught in Australia in 99% of pubs.

    A great deal

  • The only way to get Guiness in Australia as the bottle and draft is made by CUB and just labeled Guiness. It doesn't even taste like Guiness.

  • wasn't there also a free ddelivery code from yesterday?
